Cathcer in the Rye: Concluding

It was definately not a long wait. I went home yesterday, had my dinner and picked up this one. I was surprised the way this book touched me. Holden decided to run away from home and live a secluded life but he wanted to meet Phoebie for the last time. She is smart to make him stay back. And amazingly all that gives him joy is looking at Phoebie riding her Horse. Surely, joy lies in simple things.

I hope he applies for yet another school and keep my fingers crossed that he survies the ‘phoney’ public!!
